False Miniatures

With this shoot, the primary goal was to enter the realm of virtual photography, modifying the game with 'mods' to enable the use of a free-camera; allowing me to pause the game, freeze moments, and manipulate the surroudings without concequence, enabling the perfect shots.

With this, there is still a heavy focus on retaining the 'noir' atmosphere and attempting to keep the effect of 'miniature' continuous by applying a manual tilt-shift effect in post-processing which gives the illusion of these characters being miniature while still keeping the noir aspect.

The concept of 'false' miniatures helps to emphasise how these characters are not true miniatures but have been manipulated in post to help convey a similar effect.
