Camera Obscura
Project.

This project consists of two main focuses, two processes of capturing and developing images. The first process was to use a makeshift, hand-crafted camera created using simple household items; using a pinhole created in the centre to refract the light and present a visible upside down image onto a sheet of tracing paper. After editing in posting; highlighting the image and darkening the exterior it presents a mostly clear photograph.

Alternatively we also used the darkroom in order to experience a more professional aspect of pinhole photography, and on a much larger scale. When doing this we used a similar principle of refracting light onto surfaces but then later developed the images onto presentable paper.
