EXAM PROJECT - THE LENS
Stage Four - The Third Person
With this project, the aim is to convey the concept of a 'third-person perspective', putting you in an over-the-shoulder point of view of a photographer and their camera, capturing the camera as the subject as opposed to the camera's subject.
With resemblence to object for a walk, the camera is seen travelling and capturing different key areas of interest as if it were a real shoot, while primarily focusing on the features, aspects, and placement of the camera itself. This enables the viewer to infer what the camera may be shooting - whether it be an obvious point in the view of the camera, or a subtle suggestion out of view.
